Thrilled with the styling the Delaco Panels have given to my remodelled fireplace wall. The battens or slats are real timber so add real warmth to a room with polished concrete floors. The fact that it’s an acoustic slat wall panel also helps to dull the echoing in the room. It was reasonably easy to fix to the plaster using glue and the black plaster screws that were in the installation kit that is available. My carpenter worked out how to join the felt corners perfectly so the felt widths were the same where they met. I sourced some felt pads to stick on the shiny head of the screws to camouflage them and it worked perfectly. They were difficult to find the exact ones that are 10mm round, adhesive and thin 1.5mm. I will add the Amazon listing below. Would be great if they were added to the installation kit too. We used 84 screws for 5 panels but I had to buy a pack of 324 felt pads. There were no 100 packs that were right. I highly recommend these beautiful Delaco panels and am looking for where I can add more of them. One panel in a bedroom feature wall would be amazing too, or use them to clad a divider wall. I am renovating this house to become a luxury AirBnb, BELLA 9, but everyone that now walks in wants to live here, including my husband! Extremely happy with the service and product from Delaco. We did the project ourselves and found it quite easy to install. Have already ordered some of Delaco's stone samples so we can try our next DIY project. Will definitely be using Delaco again and would recommend to anyone looking for high quality products.
